Thanks in advance Steve Flip it over which will confirm this is a first rate double header, very much a collectors record was played but not that much. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

Mark Bicknell Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Cheers for that Mark, you don't see it for sale often, is it one that once it goes into a collection it stays there ? I'm on my second copy, think I gave £150.00 for it a couple of years ago, has to be worth at least that and yes it's one of those records which people tend to keep hold of I think, a real sleeper of a record both sides yet to have it's full on 15 mins of fame on the scene. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
Sebastian Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 "Finally Waking Up" is an amazing uptempo 60s dancer in my opinion. It might not be as rare as their HEM disc but it very seldom turns up for sale. Actually, in my experience there comes along at least 5 copies of their HEM 45 for every copy of the NINANDY 45!
soulsalmon Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 my wd came from Tim Ashiebende @stafford,£15 quid,as Mark says still to have its day

AGREE SEB, BOTH SIDES ARE EXELLENT AND THE HEM 45 DOES SEEM TO TURN UP RATHER MORE FREQUENTLY THESE DAYS, BUT I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK EITHER SIDE OF THE NINANDY 45 IS IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS THE HEM 45. BRI PINCH Oh it is in tha same league as the Hem 45 Bri, well the 'Fairy Tale' side certainly is in terms of the tight group harmony of the record, perhaps a spin side by side will support and confirm this, I do take your point that Show Stopper/Door Hit You Back is a class double header but the Ninandy release is certainly quality. Guest Johnny Mack Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Picked a white demo of this up on EBay a couple of years ago for 50 quid from a well known collector from Derby - no one else bid on it - which I thought surprising at the time. It's one of those records which never really made it, unfortunately...... It has all the right characteristics but just lacks that final something..... Maybe it suffers from standing in the shadows of the Cashmere's other releases..... Bit like the Rotations on Mala, another great male group 45 with the same credentials, style, and rarity value, which (for some reason) has always stood in the shadow of their other (better known) northern sides ! Take care, John. Hi, Just interested on info on this 45 Cashmeres - Finally Waking Up - Ninandy What's it go for ? . Does it get played out ? Thanks in advance Steve

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY JOHN, TWO GREAT TRACKS BUT THEY SEEM TO LACK THAT CERTAIN SOMETHING THAT BOTH SIDES OF THE HEM 45 HAVE PLENTY OF . BRI PINCH
