Guest aintgotit Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 been listening to this tune for a few weeks now but had no track listing, said to a mate this morning it sounded like a fifteen yr old aretha franklyn or maybe one of her sisters. looking for it on you tube turned u zilch apart from the elimination of cathy kirby, olivia newton john and dionne warwick When finally found track by the sweet inspirations on this very site( thank you Mr A ) the link to ebay shows an album cover woth a gangly looking teen who bears a passing resemblance to the queen of soul ? Are thr group in fact caryn aretha and erma , and if so have i missed one, and if i have please help me out an tell me, and if i havent missed out a sister, is it cissy houston?

The four members recorded mainly on Atlantic for around six years 65 to 71is as a studio group and were backing for Aretha and (tho the name sticks in my throat) Elvis! .They were Emily"Cissy"Houston - Estelle Brown - Sylvia Shemwell and Myrna Smith Cheers Ed
