dthedrug Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Last weekend, I splashed out £10 on 5 45s:- Tommy James UK "somebody cares" M-, Ruben Bell "Leave my Kitten Alone" FUNK M-, Johnny Bragg Lebejay white label??? Sharon Ridley "To make a long thing short"(Van McCoy) and Joey Dee & Star-lighters "HOW CAN I FORGET" CANEIL VG. It was not until today that I gave them a spin, it was then I noticed that the Joey Dee was not the typical BOOT that I remember way back, when God's Dog was a pup!! JM guide to boots did not help as the info he has written definitely does not apply to this record, as I never owned one back in the 7ts I am hoping this is a proper one its on plastic not styrene, DAVE KIL

dthedrug Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 this is my boot, vinyl, no bubbly label P Cheers for the scan it is different from mine as my copy has a 100 X & yours does not show the X? I think my copy should stay in my collection for the time as a original copy I have my US records in different collections? I have even got a bootleg collection? as in the early days that's the way they come if that makes sense! as today I would hardly ever buy a boot? DAVE
