Pete S Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 My sincere apolgies Sir, I thought you were talking about when she was with Decca 1964-65, didn't know she rejoined in the 70's.
Guest martyn Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 You might mean Little ole man(uptight everythings alright)-Bill Cosby, "a train ran over me ,a half hour before a herd of elephants stampeded over me" Not Bill Cosby . Could be me getting confused about the words though, I only heard the spoken intro to colored man once & that would have been 30 odd years ago

Guest in town Mikey Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Has anyone mentioned Gia Mateo - If You Cant Say Anything Nice? I still love it. It sounds dated, but brill, at the same time.
Guest in town Mikey Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) l know a version by l think a male band...but not sure if it's that.....but ain't heard that for ages either.. Not too sure I like the sound of that. Was it OK, or was it as bad as I fear? Also not heard, and not likely too for different reason is The Toys - I've Got My Heart Set On You.... ..........not likely as it could result in a room full of coronaries, if played out nowadays. Stormingly great record tho. Edited June 3, 2010 by in town Mikey
