It is quite hard to find on the gold Fania 45 - I would say 50 quid to 80 quid.

Or just try and find the "Acid" long player by the late great Barretto.

The original LP is probably a bit more expensive than the 45 on the UK press - but what a collection !!

funny - I just won an original copy of the "Hard Hands" long player by Ray B this week on ebay from peru of all places

I always look for Latin / Soul / Funk stuff - love it !!

I will let you know if it ever turns up ! lol

Yet another one which is never too expensive but try finding one! Took me 15 years to get one! It did get a European release (see seperate thread re this). Original Fania LPs are very collectable by latin/jazz crowd so soulies may struggle to land one cheap, however the Acid LP was re-released in the early nineties and no doubt again since. Also check out Ray's superb Mercy mercy baby 45 - same story re cheap IF you can get one (this is also on the Acid LP), again took me the same amount of time to get one! Alternatively get to the new Bradford Rare Soul Club venue this Friday and here it played out (by moi)! There is an ebay latin seller (from ?Ca) I got quite a bit of Fania 45 stock from about a year ago who sells regularly, might find something there.....

Bit gutted that it's so hard to find. I'd sooner it be expensive and save for one, than be hanging round for 15 years....what a killer!! Awesome track though. I really love Mercy Mercy Baby and prefer it to the flip.

Don't know where this sudden latin soul interest has come from and i know sod all about it but I'm just loving it at the moment.

Bradford?....I'd love to but can't. I've the pleasure of Minehead Butlins to look forward to
