Guest Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Nope ! your right on there brother ! I got a tape of shifty from Southend with that Colt 45 ............ er 45, on it in the early 90s.............. been looking for it ever since !! Its got every thing an independent blue eyed 60s Soul recording should have. A) Powerful and Soulful Out of tune C) Rare D) Brilliant You should give yourself a swift kick up the hoop every Friday at 2 P.M for letting that one slip through your fingers ! I must say, I do like the Amanda Humphrey 45 tho (I presume your talking about "The power of love") its fooking ACE this collecting lark innit !! LOL I'm not selling or swapping anything again ! LOL I must admit - My biggest clanger to this day was selling my "Carl Underwood" - Aint you lying" on Merging records - Mick Smith took it of me in 95 for 20 quid. But as RnB is dead I am hoping to get that back soon !!!
Davetay Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I bet he would have some classic tales to tell regarding selling tunes ! He sure would, one of my mates, (Chris Sheppard) got Del-Larks off Richard at Bank-Hall Miners for £35.
Codfromderby Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 sold loads of stuff to rob smith in a job lot, inc exportations, mandrill, sandra phillips original, tamiko jones , imperial wonders all to pay for things life throws at you at the time, had the records for years just sitting about doing nowt, money came in handy at the time, cest la vie, as they say in luxomberg
