Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Well, I just played it - it's not a French version of "The Snake", in fact it doesn't sound anything like "The Snake". Either the eBayer's deaf or he's posted up a soundfile for the wrong side...
Jumpinjoan Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Doesn't sound anything like the snake to these ears.

It is a freestyle / improvisation version , based on the lass having heard the original played in a shop in the Rue Saint Michel , whilst passing on her bicycle after collecting two stone baked baguettes and half a dozen pain au chocolat , from Madam Atget's boulangerie in the Avenue de Bastien , on the morning of the 27th of July 1966 . Jez Jones Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Remove the vocals and you got a 100mph northern instrumental lol Gonna cost $12 to get it across the channel
Shsdave Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Ooh blimey that is bad, whats with the out of tune ear piercing wail ? Pretty funny but once is enough thank you! Think carefully, would anybody play it out ? How about that venue that played Archies Sugar Sugar? Could be up their street
Guest Mrs Simsy Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 It reminds me of the theme tune to one of those cheesy murder mystery films... I'm warming to it though...
