kevinsoulman Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 just been listening to the fabulous double sider from dee dee warwick : we've got everything going for us b/w don't you ever give up on me and it got me thinking are there any mercury compilations out there on cd, over to the experts any help appreciated. kev
Shinehead Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Try to get LOST AND FOUND the BLUE ROCK STORY . BLUE ROCK being a Mercury subsidary. The said double CD is highly recommeded, artists including Dee Dee Warwick ( not the 2 tracks you mentioned) , Otis Leavill , Johnnie Moore amongst others . Worth every penny.
Baz Atkinson Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 id be interested on Jerry Butler alone then all the other incredible stuff to choose from -carl hall-black and blue-etc -a true mighty soul logo imo!!! BAZ A
John Benson Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 You'll probably know the Dee Dee Warwick CD is around with most of her Mercury / Blue Rock material on? Called I want to be with you, The Mercury / Blue Rock sessions It's only got "Don't you ever give up" on, not the other side - unfortunately
