Dave Fleming Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Hi, Cracking tune , but ... Wonder if this record was ever realeased ?? on Demo maybe ?? VIP catalogue is # 25010 1964 Cheers, PIKO No it was not issued,i don`t know if it got to the promo stage or not,i know "Say You" by the Majestics was on a VIP promo but was withdrawn because of the name clash with the Majestics on the west coast, the copy on youtube is not the 45 that matches the song,"Hello Love" this also came out on a dodgy looking Cd called "Motortown Group Sounds Vol 1"from 2003,also on the same Cd is the "Andantes-That`s a funny way" also unissued, plus other unissued Motown tracks. Modernsoulsucks Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I had 2 cuts of this on cassette back from first Motown unissued lot. Not right for then IMO. Gave Steve Jeffries copy of tape few years back I think with both cuts on. I think he may do carvers if you get in touch with him. If he still has it of course ROD
Guest carl_p Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 "Hello Love" was issued on complete motown singles vol 4. Aside from that it was not issued commercially. I have it on a 7" acetate. The majestics were the monitors as far as i know so i think there was only one recording.

They recorded "Say You" as the "Majestics" on a VIP promo, but this was never commercially issued due to the group having the same name as the west coast "Majestics" so they changed to the "Monitors" and released "Say You" on VIP.
