Probably one for Mark (Wiganer1) this one?

Just curious - have a copy of JA - Slice of the Pie ERA - yes nothing rare or fantastic but heard a faster version by him the other day taken froma Wigan Forgotten Floorshakers CD - but called a Piece of the Pie - anyone shed any light on this faster version - did it come out on vinyl - 45 or LP track or is it a specially manufactured item for CD?

hi grant

yes the faster version does exist on 45!!

i heard this version too on the same lp

i bought an issue from Anglo for 100 quid as it said mega rare issue and thought it was THE version but it wasnt as it was the same as the orange demo copeies

whistling.gif

but i managed to find one on era 3206 which still says a slice of the pie on the label but is the much more danceable version

must be rare as its the only ive seen.,all other copies of 3156 (think thats the number) are the slower version

still a big 45 wasnt it in its day??

regards

mark
