Pete S Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Am going to post a track below, I have it as a blank and would love to know what it is, though I have a feeling that I used to have it so it may have come out on UK Island. I'm pretty certain it has to be the Skatalites.
TOAD Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 whats the matrix number if its studio one i may have it in a referance book (NOT RKR !)
Guest Lord GrabAndFlee Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 This tune is "Love in the Afternoon" by Don Drummond, produced by Justin Yap in 1964. It was originally released in Jamaica on the Top Sound (not Top Deck) label, with "The Return of Paul Bogle" by Roland Alphonso on the flip. Not sure about the UK release, though. A top sound for sure!

ZapatootheTiger Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON appeared on the Westside CD "Top Deck Vol. 1 Ska-Ra-Van" (WESM509 / 1997)
