A friend of mine wanna pop over to NYC in march. she's lookin' for a cheap but clean accommodation there, any ideas? if she gets the chance, she wanna work there for 6-8 weeks as a pupil/trainee...do you know a small music label or a nice venue she can work for...??? she's a young event manager...if you got any ideas or contacts, pls let me know! many thanks in advance! just hit me a mail if you're able to help! atb!

Subway soul club has a whats on section https://www.subwaysoul.com/drupal/drupal-5.7/ I know there used to be a sort of mini nighter every Thursday at the Beauty Bar in Brooklyn (It's a haidresser themed bar see Avatar!). Hope this is useful
