harpo1
Pete I am so pleased to see the way you have gone about the business of arranging to help John....what a great gesture. As you can see above Pete and i go back a long way, and although we have had periods when we have not seen one another we still remain friends(well most of the time) We have always had very different tastes in our "Soul music", leading to many a livley debate, and the odd tiff, but thats part of the fun of it all! Gotta say ive always seen Pete as a genuine straight guy, his no prisoners tactics, when it comes to puting across his opinion, may offend some, but a litle more of that sort of approach might stop all the bollocks politics we get on the scene, as a person who spent years trying to keep everyone appeased, i particularlly find it refreshing, Pete is always the first to highlight any potentially dodgy sellers on the web, and always gives feedback on blogs that is helpful and informative, Oh! and he ain't had some bad records over the years, i remember having Lenny Curtis, George Kirby Tommy Bush and Major Harris(Can. Epic), to name just a few in the 70's So as is the case with the other guy in the equasion Mr Fingers, its just a case of doing what is right and proper for a mate...good on you Peter, and see you soon Johnny, records don't make the man, you are and always will be with or without them a true friend, see you soon Harpo Link to comment Social source share

And that major harris, fancy you ending up with that, it cost me £18 or £22 off Soul Sam one monday night at the Lafayette. Tommy Bush I had four or five of but never remember having George Kirby. I also think there may be 2 or 3 more photos from the same 'session' as the one above, I'll see if I can get my hands on them. Happy new year to you both Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Pete As you can see above Pete and i go back a long way, and although we have had periods when we have not seen one another we still remain friends(well most of the time) The only time we have ever 'fell out' is when Gary Belcher shit stirred and told you something I was supposed to have said which I never did say. It was unforgiveable what he did and that, and why he did it only he knows. Link to comment Social source share
