Samson Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 (edited) Can anyone confirm this or know anything about it? The description doesn't sound like Northern to me (but what do I know). It's on ebay ID # 200421406982 Edited December 25, 2009 by Samson

It's on ebay ID # 200421406982 clearly the seller does not know what "northern soul" means. what is your favorite "northern soul ballad"?
George G Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Looks like a QCA press from June '74. I'm sure it's your standard call and response gospel record. Since the people behind the record are so foggy on the date, how would you believe their account of 25 copies?

Samson Posted December 25, 2009 Author Posted December 25, 2009 Would be curious to hear it but would probably be disappointing and the price tag......come on.
George G Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Since the seller obviously cribbed info on Owl from my website, I should demand I get to hear it. Maybe I will. Did you notice the trashed 'VG' copy of Timeless Legend with the clearly visible gouge the seller also has up? The seller will not take returns and offer refunds.... - George

Still, someone prepared to take a chance on it Edited December 25, 2009 by chalky

Still, someone prepared to take a chance on it "barely audible in places"......... yeah, all other parts of the groove where the gouge isn't.

Still, someone prepared to take a chance on it i don't think the seller understands the concept of "djing", he's selling a gospel record as a "northern soul rock ballad"
