Wonderfully illustrated thanks to Gilles Petard (former Head of Motown France, record label owner and collector extraordinaire) this hardbound book just came out a couple of weeks ago over here. From John Lester's review on French amazon : "Any Motown fan that doesn't get this book is gonna kick themselves in the future. I have spent a whole afternoon just looking through the pictures and I've only gone through it twice and I still need to look again. There are just so many. I haven't had time to try and read it too - the pictures are just too amazing for words. There's Temps pic from their Miracle days, a Marvelettes promotional pic that I have simply NOT seen before, the wonderful French EP's.... I am ordering more copies....this is up to the same quality standard as the Motown Coffee Book but it has many more rare pictures of the lesser known groups." It's Christmas time ! 1

It's Christmas time ! it was indeed under my xmas tree . definitely a must have for all ya soul and motown lovers . And yes great unseen pictures in France . even if you can't read french it's definitely worth any penny just for the amazing illustrations .
