Still here.. must say I'm surprised!

Apologies if I'm speaking out of turn & I will delete this post if you want me to but I would have thought this is only a 300 pounder at most in mint, I don't understand the posts saying this should fly out at this price.

Even manship only prices it at 350 so we know it's not worth that ?

No offence taken, give a look on popsike and you'll realize this is a very good price. I saw this going for 600$ more than once. Remember Manship is not always over the top, for example he's got a Jimmy Phillips listed for peanuts and I know people who'd pay very big sums for it.

Hi Dave,

I have to disagree, mint one of these is IMO £400+ easy. Last one I saw for sale at a venue was EX and sold to a very pleased collector for £400 within 30 minutes. I think if you asked John about the price of a minter he would tell you it's an auction item and on one of his auctions I expect it would go for £500+.

Plus, having bought a 45 from Tommaso recently which was described as VG+ I can assure any possible buyer that his grading is very conservative and I was delighted at the condition of my VG+ buy when it arrived.

It's also a stunning double sider and in terms of quality it stands head and shoulders above most 45s of similar price . If it wasn't christmas time I'd snap this up for the collection but my 2 young kids would rather get a nintendo Wii with games and toys etc for a present :D

Hi Adam how you doing ?

I stand corrected & apologies to Tommaso, it is indeed a fantastic double sider & one I was very happy to give £3 to manship for back in the early 80sthumbsup.gif

Yes this may be an auction piece for manship but so is a casino classic monster (joke) so what does that tell us?

I know this was selling for around 400 a few years back but thought the price had dropped, either way both sides are top plays & somebody should snap this upyes.gif
