Hi all

Have tagged this record in the past with interest but noticed one on ebay went for over $1500 the other night..

my question is this .....why does this record command such a heavy price tag ???

ive heard both sides and am confused as to why people would pay that much for a record that is'nt any better than the FOUR TOPS to these ears

Im led to thinking it's rarity must be the answer

No idea on it Nev but its the 4 tops`s pug ugly brother in my opinion.

Nev i'll stick with my copy of the Counts on Yes, the above is not in the same class as the Four Tops & the Counts IMO and a Counts is about £275 - £350.

to my ears the counts is a weak beach record, much worse than roscoe, but roscoe's isn't amazing.

i like elsie strong's version. obviously not as good as four tops though.

Agree on elsie strong and four tops but I always end up playing barbara lewis's version at home as it's so good it gives me shivers.

hmm.. i don't really know barbara's version, i have the enterprise CD, i have to go back and listen to it again, thanks for the tip.

We all have an opinion on every record boba and I respect yours, all I that I can tell you is when ever I've played the Counts out I've had people on the dance floor and nearly always someone coming up to the decks to take a look at the record.

i don't have an opinion as to which is a better dance record, the counts might be a way better dance record, and as you said, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Best thing about the RR version for me was the nice little horns in it.
