jocko Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Okay expecting a nasty shock from the taxman so needing to increase my bank balance, can supply scans and soundclips for all if requested. Would prefer bank transfer/cheque/cash but can do paypal if you are happy to do charges or pay as gift. All below are very clean, vinyl and labels except where stated, I try and describe condition rather than guess at a grading as I find it just too arbitrary, I have tried to be as precise as possible, and tried to be err on the critical side. No question asked refunds guaranteed on all if not totally satisfied. All play through perfectly unless stated. Billy Hambric – She Said Goodbye/I Found A True Love (Drum) £175 Tears – Good Luck My Love/What You’re Doing To Me (Smash WD) £175 This has what looks like an address stamp on both sides of label. Larry Davis – The Magic Is Gone (Decca Blue Promo) £75 Clovers – Try My Loving On You (Josie Issue) £75 Vonettes – Touch My Heart (Cobblestone Promo) £75 Embers – Watch Out Girl (MGM Issue) £150 this has lots of marks and scuffs all over vinyl, hence price, it was graded as vg++ by a main dealer when I bought it. There are 2 faint clicks in 2nd half of song. Label has ringwear and very slight fading on this. Howard Guyton – I Watched You Slowly Slip Away (Verve issue) £150. Has a number of marks and scuffs, it was graded as Ex when I bought it. Some surface noise before music starts but absolutely none evident after. Label has some ringwear and a drill hole. Can do pictures of the vinyl for any interested buyer and will provide wav file soundclips. Bobby Angelle – Too Much For You (Money) £200 Dottie & Millie – Talking About My Baby/Nothing In This World (Topper) £200 Eddie Spencer – If This Is Love (Arc) £100 Jimmy Hudson – He Don’t Love You/Whats That (Act IV) £250 The top side has 2 lines all the way around, not sure if they are actual scratches and some scuffs, not sure it wouldn’t clean up but I am a bit nervous of cleaning something at this value. It has a very small label tear, where it looks like its been covered up in the past. The flip side has some marks and scuffs also, Happy to try and send picture of vinyl for anyone genuinely interested. Continental Showstoppers – Not Too Young/Never Set Me Free (Seventy 7) £225 Mamselles – Open Up Your Heart (ABC WD) £175 This has some light scuffs. Steve Mancha – Friday Night/Monday Thru Thursday (Groovesville Demo) £200 Jack Montgomery – Baby Baby Take A Chance On Me (Revue Promo) £150 Bud Harper – Wherever You Were (Peacock) £200 Originals – Ain’t No Sun (Suspension) £100 Has one mark about 1/3 of way in but does not affect play. Has some other light scuffs Has a click for first 15 seconds of record rotating. Flairs – You Got To Steal It (RAP) £200 Edited December 9, 2009 by jocko
