Tommaso Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Hi everybody, Ive never seen this record for sale so suppose it´s very rare, any info about this? what would be a fair price?
Jumpinjoan Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Very rare and very expensive. £2000 plus I would say. Pretty sure someone on here sold theirs for a lot more than that
KevH Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Played at Burnley by Alex Jones on his (last?) visit. Edited December 9, 2009 by KevH
Soulcarp Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Played at Burnley by Alex Jones on his (last?) visit. yes,i had a mental blockage at the time
Keithw Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 sold mine to russ vickers many moons ago 300 quid will give you 310-00 for it russ:thumbsup:
Corbett80 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Tony Smith has/had one as well. Sounds greats out in a club loud but having heard a soundfile of it recently in general the vocal isn't great......like a dodgy George Blackwell which would make sense i suppose. The backing is stunning though. Guide has it at £400!!! Edited December 9, 2009 by mulf

Need to hear it out, maybe a trip to Berlin in the future KEITH CURTIS - Butch played it at your club when you invited him for your last anniversary. If you didn`t like it back then you wouldn`t like it at the Hip City neither.

Rushden Vic Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Was collecting SMOKE and the subsidary PAT labels in the early 80s , had 2 copies of Keith Curtiss which i paid £8 each for , never rated it , only average in my opinion . Prefered other side - My love i cant hide - at the time. Having said that when i heard butch play it a couple of years ago it sounded better in a allnighter atmosphere . There was at least 3 copies around Northants area mid 80s , one of mine went to Steve green , other i think may have gone Todmorden to tim brown, Third copy was owned by Rug bowers (r.i. p) whose copy recently ended up at Tod as well

Manfromsoul45s Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 First had mine around stafford time and have had a couple over the years..I like both sides, but has never really had any hammer..I am sure that Jim Wensiora had one that had a solid centre (weird i know) but don't know what happened to it..
