Got one of these for $5 off Gemm many, many moons ago - was my first ever purchase on Gemm, not a bad start - and sold it to Pete S if I remember rightly, lovely 45
Corbett80 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Wasn't the other one on the different Dotty label design? White blue and red?
Weingarden Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Nice record, but "Taking" side doesn't hold a candle to the Carol Anderson version IMO.
Garethx Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Nice record, but "Taking" side doesn't hold a candle to the Carol Anderson version IMO. I think Gail Nevels is the better version for home consumption. As a dance record in a club the Carol Anderson has more appeal.
Weingarden Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Interesting distinction! Not sure I buy it.

Chalky Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I think Gail Nevels is the better version for home consumption. As a dance record in a club the Carol Anderson has more appeal. I agree Gareth although I think Gail Nevels the better version period but as you point out it doesn't have the dance appeal that Carol Anderson does.
