Got this through today. yet another stunner for the box.

Love this tune, used to hear it back int' day, but forgot

how good it was til' I heard it a few weeks ago, so the

hunt was on again. Found this one on the web for £6, and

I think you'll agree it looks beautiful, I love these early

Tamla Demos, Just something about them, plain but pretty.

I also thought I'd include a piccy of what I play my old tunes on,

a 70's Music centre that I picked up from a local charity shop.

Oh yes, Retro indeed :D

I like that Steve, does the tapedeck still work? I used to spend hours round my grandad's recording all my vinyl onto something similar. Happy days thumbsup.gif

Yes Matt the tape deck does work, I made sure of that before I bought it, cos I wanted to transfer some tapes that I had onto CD to play in the car. So I can do that from the headphone socket into the audio in on the pc. And an added bonus is that it still has the original 2 separate microphones so you can do a true stereo live recording.

Happy days indeed.rolleyes.gif

Agree totally, this one of mine quite a recent addition too, somehow I didn't acquire this tune back in the 70's

when I was buying as much as I could afford out of my wages from Soul Bowl.

Brilliant record.

This one ain't bad either. But sitting & listening in Mr M's at Wigan to Tell Me It's Just A Rumour was something to cherrish, remember the sound of feet stomping the dance floor as loudly as the record itself.
