Guest haritone Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Hello, I was wondering whether anyone here can shed some light for me on the subject? I think it was an 80s release on the defunct October label. Did it only appear on the LP of the same name? A single perhaps..? Rare as hen's teeth? or within the grasp of mere mortals..? I don't know much about it other than I think its a fantastic tune! Any info would be great. Cheers, haritone
Sean Hampsey Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 LP only, I'm afraid. Album came out in the UK on Move in the mid 80's. Just the one single, on October, "I'm Afraid To Let You Into My Life" b/w "I'm Gonna Walk" did infact make it from the LP. If you get to pick up the album, a further track "Your Love" is a real bonus. A triffic uptempo dancer. Sean
Roger Williams Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 (edited) Wasn't the album called 'Just Enough To KEEP Me Cool'? I've always had it in my mind that was the title, though it was 25 years ago so I'm probably wrong. 'Being For Real Is Where It Is' was always my favourite from the LP. Guest haritone Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks for all the responses. I was fairly certain it was called Just Enough to Get Me Cool as no info turned up with Keep in the title. The lp came into Soul Bowl Sean Sorry if this is not the place to ask, but I am keen to get a copy of the LP. Is Soul Bowl a mail order record store? Would someone mind PM me details? Regards
