Wow, when he goes for it the voice is really still there.. Hope youtube clips are fine to post.. If not then let me know.. The flip to I'll be gone is a sweet tune too, never did turn it over before Wayne Dearman played it at Soul Or Nothing.. Also " where does love go ".. " Am i groovin you " ( Thanks to Karl Heard for this )... " Mr Heartache " would be happy if that was the last record i heard on this earth... A soul ballad of the highest order in my book.. Also does a great version of open the doors to you heart imo.. And much more.. Freddie Scott is the real deal for me.. Cmon Mr Croasdell with a current Kent CD (which is awesome by the way, cannot believe its not been mentioned before) and singing like this, Cleethorpes and Freddie are just fate waiting to happen. What struck me about the clip is how much respect Carlton (who I'm a bit of a fan of) paid to Freddie (the old Master) and that the performance seemed so natural and impromptu. Total Quality.
