MATT BROWN ' EVERYDAY' JARVAL RECORDS, JUST SOLD £988

Usually books at £600, incredible record always loved it, mine is the same yellow/red label, the plain yellow usually goes for a bit more, glad to see quality crossover up there with the Northern tunes , mind you i still think 'Reality' by Harold Tyler is as a fantastic crossover 45' and that goes for about £75.

one went through the bay today for £460 !!!!

which given the amount of copies you see around now is maybe a more realistic price.

And another ended on ebay yesterday at $766.85. It's one of the last Jar-Val 45s I don't yet have, but it remains out of reach....for now.

It never ceases to amaze me that some bidders on JM's auctions seem to be completely oblivious of the "going rate" and don't keep an eye on eBay goings on...mellow.gif

It's interesting this price war, i know Jm has it guide book at £600 while TB has it at £800, suppose it depends how much you want something i guess.

I agree that wanting a tune badly can help you lose perspective (suffer from it myself), but if the buyer (or other bidders for that matter) wanted it that badly, why wouldn't they check eBay as well....g.gif

Did you pay loads for this Brett

Hi Simon

It clearly states that it is the re-issue ,and that is a ridiculous price for a known 2nd issue copy .

Especially when it was common knowledge on here that Dwight himself was floggin em for about $15 a few months backyes.gif

Im beginning to think there is a sort of parallel universe out there judging by some of the high prices on ebay latelyohmy.gif

Pp. No Simon I bought 3 originals from Dwight Franklin@$35 each, and not re-issues though I did sell one for a good price and it was a good price for an original. Brett

Im going to ask Cunnie bout that !!

I haven't seen as many copies of this MB as 'Thank You Baby'? Or are they roughly the same in availability?
