Paul McKay Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 "I love you" / "She's so fine" normally turns up on Baylor 101 and there's one listed by JM right now (scan attached). I've checked the web but can find no mention of the label on which mine appears - B&J 101. It has a Bell Sound stamp in the deadwax, but no other info. Anyone know anything about this?
Sean Hampsey Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Dave Thorley had one of these for sale a couple of years ago. I would have thought it 'just' predates the 'Baylor' label's inception. Sean
Paul McKay Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 Cheers Sean. Anyone else any info?
Tony Smith Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Cheers Sean. Anyone else any info? Paul, there is quite a bit written about Johnnie Baylor in Soulville USA.
Paul McKay Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Cheers Tony I'll have a re-read, but really meant this record specifically.
