NEV Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 40~50 each I would say Maybe in a box at an allnighter at them prices Chunky Would have said £75 upwards in sales Think CraigMoerer had a few intrigues recently for $125 ?? might have been $150 ...sold mine last yr for £70 on here if mem serves me right ,could have been less cos i'm often getting bartered down
jocko Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) Ahh a serious question, apart from never disagreeing with Val because he is my hero, do you not think this is a good example of the "in vougue" pricing rather than being rare Nev youu talk about on other thread. I think Val's right in what they are worth but yet again everyone is chasing them for whatever reason and therefore the price doubles (unless I am selling!). Anyway one serious thought too much, back to put my head under the pillow and hope the world goes away! PS value aside Intrigues is a fantastic tune and great to hear stuff like this being chased, so get buying people, this does deserve its elevated status, and if anyone has one for £40 I'll take! Simon M Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Could of sold ten copies of " Fly now pay later " @ £100 , quite recently
jocko Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Could of sold ten copies of " Fly now pay later " @ £100 , quite recently Just reading my reply and its not clear but thats what I was meaning Simon, rarity and value on this currently are secondary so its in demand and I think Mark could clear that and more if he puts them up now, but it is one of those things that you need to get timing right. I think Tom Green is rarer but for some reason its never done it for me, must have a re-listen coz normally do like what Mark is selling.

Re: Intrigues ...Its only coz your mate Butch is playing it Bearsy calls em Butchoids
jocko Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) Re: Intrigues ...Its only coz your mate Butch is playing it Bearsy calls em Butchoids Thats because he has great taste in soul music that people never seem to want to acknowledge on here, mind not such good taste in football teams or Sunday lunches but thats an aside, although sure I was tipping this to people a while ago, bizarrely as I have never had one. Not really his fault if everyone else wants to be Mutton is it! Anyway we are waffling now, Mark I think both are easily 3 figure records now what actual figure you need better informed people than me for that. Edited November 28, 2009 by jocko

Plus he does know how to pick a cheapie .
pikeys dog Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Tom Green - paid £60 for mine about five years ago and was chuffed to get it at that price. I wouldn't let it go for less than a Ton. A very rare record on the label, and it's only release Worldwide.
Guest mark shepherd Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 that'll do for me !!!!!!!!!!!!! £100 each.......off to sales with these 2

A very rare record on the label, and it's only release Worldwide. Been offered a ton for mine recently although wouldn't part with it. It's one of those...the more you play it the better it gets. Subtle, soulful, great lyrics and beautifully produced.
