If two or more idiots want to pay through the nose for something then surely that's up to them, and no fault of the seller?

Too true Bob same with the Jessie James 45 Very well described ...they could have easily said vg or vg- and give a grade breakdown at foot of page like a lot do. The guy even put a soundfile up for the four andantes....Jeez what more could he do ?? Some people must just wanna own the records at whatever cost .... Both are rare 45s for sure ....and Bob should know ,he got the last FA and at a good price too

Dave Pinch Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 i came 2nd on the jessie james and lost to a snipe ( grrrrr) in the last seconds. i never have any money to spend and i thought that was the copy for me as i could never afford a grand for a minter but for once im a bit flusher than usual lol. folks should remember that not all soulies are millionaires in fact most of us are far from it. I nearly swopped my fascinators on bombay for a mint jessie once but was talked out of it. but having looked at that JJ the other nite and listened to the soundclip i thought i would bid what i thought it was worth and i only just missed it dave

Im sure my old pal Shep had a much better copy on here last yr for a lot less money ? I cursed that record when it was on ebay the other night ,i was secretly bidding on his much better item (which i won ) but the jessie james drew attention to the relative unknown i was watching . Then again maybe it distracted attention who cares ...it's now mine
NEV Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Just traced Sheps old copy of Jessie James in back sales JESSE JAMES / ARE YOU GONNA LEAVE ME / SHIRLEY / dont know how to grade this so going to give a description instaed (has crack, which in certain position does nap, some hiss during run in, has cellotape on reverse to secure in postion, name on label, money back if you cant get it to play well enough) £100****SOLD***** Not the best copy but that's the kind of money you pay for records in this condition
