if someone is posting an mp3 link they are giving someone the option of downloading the original mp3, for example, to play on their ipod. that embedded player doesn't have that option. can that option be added? if not, people probably wouldn't want to use it as it would be removing options for listeners unless they wanted to post the mp3 link and also use the embedded player on top of the mp3 link.

There's no probs with providing a downloadable link to a mix is there? It's not like posting up a track in isolation - most if not all tracks overlap so there's no 'clean', 'separate' copies floating around?

its just a sort of "use it if you want" sort of thing

by all means use it as well with your usual links if wish

at a guess it could encourage more people to have a listen to your shows/podcasts

cant see any problems using it as per the normal way you post radio/cats etc as its just a way of framing the link so to speak
