I've never seen a copy of JOB Orchestra - Don't Want That Illusion - on a 45. Spoke to someone else who is a member on here last week about it and he said he'd only ever seen it once

I know the LP is easy to get hold of quite cheap. JM has the 45 valued at £100 in his guide - I would have thought it was worth a lot more than that

The album and single were given away at a Hari Krishna rally in London in the Seventies,I,ve seen a few singles but not many, the albums well worth buying although HK influence, Surdashan Disc if memory serves me right..

Think Sudashan was the US label and the UK label was Govinda - I guess someone in the US must have seen some potential in the track Don't Want That Illusion and released it on their own label OM

I have the 45 on OM, yes it is an orange label with a swirly design on it from memory. No idea about value.

I found it in the states when i found 3x Paul Thompson, Will Collins and a bunch of other stuff in 2003, paid $21 for the lot...

Yep its pretty darn rare in my book............i`ve had it.....[ that copy sold to Keb Darge @ 100 Club]. From memory, i dont it played to my impossibly high standards regarding sound quality. It was pressed on styrene and there was a fair bit of background fuzz[ particularly on the loud parts]..........If you get offered, one make sure you hear before you buy..........

Best, Ivor
