Guest isis Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 3 perfect end of the night tracks for me would be ... The Rotations - Put Another Dime On D9 Bob & Fred - I'll Be On My Way and last but not least, Roy Hamilton - Let The Music Play
Guest chorleybloke Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I Think the principle of ender tracks is a VERY traditional and important element of a nighter. Its an emotional come down and closure of the night. You have had all night to dance to the uptempo stormers and there is no better way to leave than a slow dance to a spine- tingling slab of soul Think the casinos 3 before 8 are perfection and will never be beaten, but if i have to choose alternatives i think i'll go for Carl Carlton---You Can't stop a Man in love Betty Lavette---Almost Bessie banks ---Go Now much better than sex, that can wait till sunday afternoon Fully agree Patto - not an easy task for the final allnighter DJ. If I was forced to choose 3 others, they would be... Tony Middleton - Paris Blues / Freddie Houston - If I Had Known / Timi Turo - It'll Never Be Over For Me (surely the most appropriate ender of them all) Cheers............Pete

It really is difficult to emulate the "3" but having said that i would probably go for the following: Timi yuro- it will never be over for me Tobi Legend- Time will pass you by Tony Michaels- Love the life i live/Live the life i love (The 1 after eight at the Torch) ROY
Guest SteveJohnston Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Johnny Maestro 'I'm Stepping Out Of The Picture' (Scepter) Lee McKinney & Magnetics 'I'll Keep Holding On' (Sable) Jimmy Wallace 'I'll Be Back' (Alpha) Fingers.. It would be worth turning up at 7.51 am just to listen to the last three with this lot Johnny
Guest Polyvelts Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Charles Mann - It's all over Debbie Fleming - Long gone Bobby Reed - The time is right for love
Agentsmith Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 EMIT LONG - CALL ME JIMMY WALLACE - I'LL BE BACK MAMIE LEE - I CAN FEEL HIM SLIPPING AWAY
Deadwaxdetective Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Three before eight? It has to be a strong coffee,a ciggie & most days a particularly dynamic number two!!! Only being honest, because we are considering 8AM!!!
Guest posstot Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 MY 3 BEFORE 8 ARE. 1. MAKE THE TEA 2. WASH UP 3. GET THE KIDS TO BED. AT LEAST, ON A SCHOOL NIGHT THAT IS
