This is one hard record to turn up, and should not be confused with their other three releases on the Stax label which are comparatively easy to find. It took me ages to find one and paid 100 pounds for a visually Vg copy which plays real nice. I was especially chuffed to get one, and that was many years ago. Both sides are nice group harmony and I believe its collectible amongst group collectors in the US which maybe helps explain why it's so hard to turn up.

The last one I saw for sale was perhaps 5 years ago for 200 pounds on a JM list. I think its getting a few spins on the northern scene nowadays and as we all know, demand plus limited supply can create high prices. I wouldnt like to guess at a current price, but on rarity alone I will say that its far rarer than many northern records which regularly command a 400 pound plus price tag.

The few copies I've seen over the years have all been Issues - I've never seen a demo, albeit demos of the other three are not that hard to find. I would be interested to hear why this particular record is so scarce and would love to see a scan of the demo if anyone has one.

Best

John
