Csta Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 hi Christian theres one for sale on raresoulman but not for what i sold it for:thumbsup: yes, seen it, but i can't spend 250 UKP on this (and i don't want to either...)
Guest Brett F Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Think £250 is an absoulte steal for this, i remember when John Manship had this for £400 about 5 years back. ps there is a slower (and arguably better) version they did on a LP......!

Brett it only sounds slower because you have had a few glaases of a nice red when you play it would have thought £200 plus for a copy. mark
Guest Brett F Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 The album is quite tough Mark, came out twice but mines the first (well what did you think )...Oh they aren't called Tom Emanuel etc either....

Didn't know it existed. What LP is it on?
Mark B Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 PM 'd you info mate whats wrong with telling me mark

What LP is it on? 100-150 seems right not sure about it coming down in price as I doubt anybody would of paid the 400 manship was asking. saw a few change hands under 100 at same time manship had his at 400. Sold one myself.
Guest Brett F Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 whats wrong with telling me mark PM'd you
Jordirip Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 saw a few change hands under 100 at same time manship had his at 400. Sold one myself. Yes, I always thought it was a £50+ tune. It certainly used to sell for £50 a few years back, I knocked it back a couple of times. Jordi
Bitchdj Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 i must either have been going to the wrong venues or looking at the wrong sales lists ??? ive never seen it cheap or in any quantity either.... i must just be plain unlucky methinks ???? anyway a fabulous double sider without a doubt... whatever the various price differential...

I think it was / is quite obscure. I just don't think it ever had huge demand hence why when it did crop up you could get it under 100 GBP. i'm not knocking the track I think ts great I just don't think it got beyond being a tape swappers record. not one for the hot box and big prices.
Margo Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Yes, I always thought it was a £50+ tune. It certainly used to sell for £50 a few years back, I knocked it back a couple of times. Jordi a vg+ copy sold this week for £225 on a45heaven web site !

Jordi Hi Jordi, i first heard this with a tape swap with Andy Whitmore, it hardly turned up in all the years i chased it but i did finally nab one, still think 250 is a good price.......but like i said earlier the LP take is better........ Brett

Brett Bought my copy in the same shop I found Herby Brown about '81 (either 10 or 20p can't remember which). Do recall manship having one in the last few years for 300, whether he sold it or not is another matter. Have to say the ones I've seen for sale in the 2/3 years have been 100/150 certainly no more
Guest duncanm Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Got a NM copy to sell if anyone's interested....PM for infos please - regards
