Guest Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) HI guys & gals can anyone tell me if anyone else has done this ? i'm convinced i've seen a yellow copy crediting the vocal to a guy ?? have i really or have i dreamt it thanks in advance xxxx Edited November 3, 2009 by Guest
George G Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Got a yellow copy with (T. Michaels-V, Gormann-W. Joel) below the title, not sure if this helps. The W. Joel would be William Joel....or Billy to you! This song was written and recorded by his band the Hassles. The Hassles version was a regional hit, and there are probably more recorded versions out there. The Hassles were on United Artists. The Teardrops were somewhere in the eastern/central PA area IIRC. I have another 45 on Max that's weak garage. I like this record (Teardrops) but the severe stereo seperation bugs me. At least its a cheap ($25) fix. - George Edited November 3, 2009 by George G
