Just picked up a (mint) copy of the very fine Mystics on Orr "Put out the fire", 1st pressing of the Mystiques on Twinight with the same title, per the very knowledgable chaps from Eccentric Soul this was thought to be only a 50 pressing (name then changed to avoid confusion with the other Mystics on Teak-o), anyone know if this is true / any copies ever come up?

I think more than 50 were pressed, I know of at least 5 collectors with copies, I don't have a copy though, very hard title. I don't know where they would get the number 50 from. One of the members Bobby Magee died all of a sudden of cancer about a year ago, very sad. The interview with one of the members is on my website. The group evolved into Raw Umber on Virginia.

Well seeing as you're flying in for our Walter & Admerations / Green Berets show this week will be happy to hear more of the story Bob, will be spinning the 45 there obv!! Hey, if possible can you do me a favour, I just got the Devils "Love and understanding" on Cuca but still haven't heard their other, know you have one so if there's any chance you could bring with you or wing a soundfile (the uptempo side, not the harmony) would be great, def need to hear it!
