Hello,

I could not find a listing to the value of a mint copy of Prince Ella Johnson on Merging in Manship.

Does anyone have an idea of the price on this one. Thanks for any help.

Love this record. Don't think it really has an established value, as it's not in the guides and doesn't seem to be known to many....

No, thanks. I've had a copy for years...can't recall where or when I got it. It's obviously pretty rare. I brought it to Germany once for a DJ gig and a couple of the Hamburg guys seemed to know it, but otherwise I've never seen or heard any evidence of anyone else having or knowing it.

it's possible to have a clip of it?

Sure, send me your email address, and I can send an mp3 .. Manship estimated 350 pounds .. said it could go higher in one of his auctions.

I have already had one offer of $500 for it. Still thinking it over .. you can reach me at philk26@gmail.com

Bought a copy of Prince Ella Johnson on Merging off John Anderson, circa mid 80's for £50. Around the time Ella Woods was starting to break( this was £12 on his list at the time). Seem to have a vague recollection of Butch playing this at one of the early Bretby alldayers.

hmmm, that did pretty well in the auction, didn't it....well, i would consider letting mine go for a nice offer. it's a strong vg, just shy of vg+, on a scale without e grades (some would no doubt call it vg+). glossy with just some very minor light scratches/scuffs. plays great, perfect for dj'ing...
