Seems that at Prestwich on Friday there were rumours flying around that Saturdays Keele Niter was cancelled.

Then the next day another rumour was going around that due to refurbishment the main room will not be available and it will be held in a smaller room downstairs!

Of course both these "rumours" turned out to be false, with the niter going on as billed and as in past.

Where these rumours come from is anybodys guess, but suppose the only thing that can be certain is that they were started to damage the event.

What else can you say?

FLIPside Friday night.

We had similar things going on for FLIPside, I suppose if you put on a sucessful nighter someone will get jealous and stop it. This kind of thing has been going on for years and in the end the only people who can make a difference are those who travel and go to them. We had an execelent night, numbers up from last one, memberships almost doubled, the spoilers had no effect on us (this time).

Our next is SATURDAY December 6th, we will not be cancelling anything or anyone and can honestly provide some of the best rare 60's soul & r&b in the country.
