I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR OPINIONS ON TWO TUNES.

LAST WEEK I WAS GOING THROUGH SALES ON VARIOUS SITES AND CAME ACROSS A TRACK -VENICIA WILSON - THIS TIME I'LL BE LOVING YOU - LISTED AS A TEST PRESSING AND ALSO ON THE SEVENS LABEL.

I IMMEDIATELY RECOGNISED THE BACKING OF THE TRACK AS BEING VERY SIMILAR TO AN INSTRUMENTAL TRACK I FIRST HEARD, OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO, OFF A TAPE FROM JOHN KINGHAM , THE TRACK BEING PETER HAMILTON - HEY GIRL(JAMIE1338). THE PETER HAMILTON TRACK CAN BE HEARD ON THIS SITE AS WELL AS SOUL GIRL. THE VENICIA WILSON TRACK CAN ALSO BE HEARD ON SOUL GIRL.

THERE IS A POINT TO THIS BUT I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU COULD TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN TO THEM BOTH AND LET ME KNOW YOUR OPINIONS ON HOW SIMILAR OR UNSIMILAR THE TRACKS ARE

The Venetia Wilson is an Ian Levine creation, on top of a remix of the Peter Hamilton track.... I believe the youth of today call them Mash-Ups or some other such nonsense...

Case Closed.
