Mark Bicknell Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Still got this little gem, not selling Tony sorry but pretty sure you will locate a copy with a bit of digging. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
Sebastian Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Just so you're aware of this in case you don't know it: the sound quality on the LEE JOHN label 45 is shockingly thin on the "Birth Of A Playboy" track compared to the MAPLE and CANYON issues. It's the exact same recording on all three 45s, but the LEE JOHN 45 suffers from very poor mastering. Edited October 16, 2009 by Sebastian
Jason S Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Was about to say the same thing as Sebastian. Sound quality on the Lee John issue is very poor.
Wiganer1 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 but the other side isnt and is much better....love for my girl..
Reg Scott Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 but the other side isnt and is much better....love for my girl.. The flip on the Canyon and Maple releases is also a good track and they tend to turn up in good condition and as mentioned a very clear mastering of the 'playboy'. It depends whether you want the first release on Lee John that bad. Matter of each to their own.. Regards..

Now changed it to the Chosen Few for the later Maple or Canyon copy. Edited October 16, 2009 by Tony Foster
