eheheh i've spin it this summer during my gigs...and it never fault the dancefloor...probably not for a proper soul eve for sure...(i usually djing in italy for regular people but i've spin it also in the last Rimini Rare Soul Weekender with very goo result!!!)however i have post it because imo it have an great soulfull appeal higher than some discoish tune that have more luck on the scene...and to understand how much can be really unknown...

grandmaster flash lyrics arent they? not much wrong wi that. no synth drumbeats quite fast .id av a dance to that at an alternative funk soul jazz jazz funk /house whatever else night. not yer traditionalists bag, but you know what , i dont give a sh**. well done for posting.

don't know sincerly if the lyrics are taken from grand master flash...however...is of 1979...usually the late rare disco prod have this kind of lyrics in the end...i always think more like delasoul one...yes i know for sure it's not for an orthodoxic soul venue...but this year in rimini soul weekender i've made a little set of 80's rare disco with good result on dancefloor...i've spin it after big dave &hot city band on glitter funk...another discoish biggie and before powerhouse on daystar.... good.gif

Nice track , but the Northern Fundamentalists wont like it ! , its good to see DJ,s in europe being a bit more open minded , and keeping the rare soul dance scene fresh , there was a time in the 80,s when new tunes did hit the decks at the top nighters and went down well , what happened ?

i'm in Italy(South Italy!!!)..and to make people dance... i started to collect a big range of black music (mod-jazz R&B soul northern soul funk(also afro and latin funk) modern soul a bit of disco, rare disco and also a little bit of good soulful house production and Rap...and others also in latin/tropical spectrum)so i grow up in a healthy open minded attitude that increase my taste parameters...or simply teach me to be daring to post something like this on a SOUL FORUM...to come back at your post i'm thirty years old...when you say about fresh music in the 80's in what kind of soul spectrum are this track??? rare disco, funk or you speak only about new track on the scene???

no problem...i've wrote only my opinion...and i would know the yours opinions on this (positive/negative) without problem...i well know before to post it that one could split the opinion on this forum...i've received some positive and some negative one...it's normal i think...

I don't usually like bogie, but this one is pretty good. The break is sh*te, though.
