Where do I start, so hard to whittle it down to ten especially as the type of sound has varied over the years. Also there were sounds that I raved over at the time and now just like a lot. Plus depends if were're talking "Northern" as there are many "slow and deeper" sides that I really go for. If its Northern then perhaps the following but I could draw up a different list next week rolleyes.gif

  1. Tomangoes - I Really Love You
  2. J.J.Barnes - Please Let Me In
  3. Darrell Banks - Open The Door To Your Heart
  4. Bobby Treetop - Wait Till I Get To Know Ya
  5. Soul Twins - Quick Change Artist
  6. Dells - Run For Cover
  7. Bits & Pieces - Keep On Running Away
  8. Big Dee Irwin - I Only Get This Feeling
  9. Johnny Wyatt - This Thing Called Love
  10. Silouettes - Not Me Baby

:boxing: SEND FOR THE SOUL POLICE ,if found guilty of sacrilege he will have his nuts crushed , he will then be taken to a modern room and made to dance all night(as dancing to modern looks like you've had your nads squigged) . he will then be taken to Sketchleys and have his baggies taped to drain pipes . :(:shades:

Remember last time you did a great instrumentals, but then mentioned

Interplay and spoilt it???You've just done it again by mentioning Tim Tam & The Turn Ons......And yes l danced to that many a time too!!! :boxing:

we just mentioned it being VERY popular still Webby :shades: . as for Tim Tam : you go to an east mids venue this weekend and you'll see some frantic moves to this. Debbie loves the 100mph+ stuff (along with many others' it seems)

Me, I prefer a good across the board selection of tempo's/oldies, i'll try to think of ten all time faves and post em up later

p.s. are Sketchleys still in business?

Can anyone remember when for a short while a version by Corrine Gillies (I think) was played?

I quite liked this, tho not as much as the Dana Valerie.

I can only remember reissues on Columbia SP??

Sorry to go off topic, but is there a legit issue or is the CSP one the only vinyl version?

THE BOND BUG

Like the Raleigh Chopper, the Bond Bug was a classic seventies icon " a three-wheeler aimed firmly at the younger, fun-loving generation.

The two-seater, three-wheeled sports car, was designed by Tom Karen of Ogle Design and built by Reliant, creators of that other three-wheeled icon, the Reliant Robin, under the acquired company name of Bond Cars Ltd in 1970.

The wedge-shaped, fibre-glass Bug had no doors, just a lift-up canopy. It was only available in one colour " bright orange. And, unlike the slow Reliant, could do up to 75mph.

A short production run guaranteed their collectability: only 2,268 vehicles were built before the Bug was terminated in May 1974. Daniel Culley of Bristol has the largest collection in the UK " 335.
