Mick Holdsworth Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I think you can get it on Stardust, although I think its a boot? Great record though Warning - Stardust copy has nearly all the intro "chopped off" - ruins the atmosphere of the song Cheers Mick

purist Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I cant believe nobody came up with the obvious solution - put Willie Kendrick's version of W.T.O.Y.F. on the right hand deck, and Kenny Carter's " I've Got to Get Myself Together" on the left hand deck. Play one then the other. Truly fabulous soul records that always go down well with the dancefloor despite their mid tempo. Better still if they're both beautiful black issue copies, deck clockers ecstasy !! Big City Soul Indulgence
Russ Vickers Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Hi Alfie Willie Kendrick - What's That On Your Finger - RCA - Willie Kendrick version is very good IMHO however Kenny Carter is amazing.........100 Club moster sound, now an oldie down there & has been for some years, but never ever fails to touch my heart & move my feet. Best Russ
