Morning, got a pair of 1210s up for grabs stupidly cheap but please read the details below! I would much prefer selling to someone who could collect from Coventry but if necessary can pack and post. These are heavy though and postage will be expensive, not sure how much but I will only charge what the PO charge me.

Brief history of these to help explain condition etc.....I bought them about 3 months ago as part of a job lot of sound kit at an auction. Idea was to see if I could get them working and then use at my venue. Then yesterday I stumbled across a brilliant set of 1200s at a pawn shop, real bargain price so snapped them up and the 1210s are now not needed! When I originally bought the 1210s at auction they were obviously in need of some work and new parts, I've actually done 90% of the work required! Pic and details for each deck:

Deck 1

In full working order and I've been using this one at home for last few weeks.

Work done by me: new tone arm fitted and deck cleaned of dirt etc.

Needs: one foot, lid (if you want one, hinges are in place so will just slot on). Could use new earth wire, is one on which does the job but it was damaged (split) and I repaired with bit of solder and electric tape.

Any problems: No, motor is running beautifully and as I mentioned above I've been using this at home for a few weeks and it's been brilliant.

Deck 2

Work done: cleaned so is dust/dirt free. Replacement platter fitted to replace cracked one.

Needs: 4 feet, lid (again hinges are in place) and new tone arm. Tone arms cost about £50 and are a bit tricky to fit, but plenty of step by step videos on you tube to guide you through! You'll need a soldering iron, basically new tone arm comes with wiring which needs to be soldered into place (5 diff colour wires, best way is use soldering iron to remove old wire then solder on new wire of matching colour etc).

Any probs: well I can't 100% guarantee there aren't any simply beacause without the arm I can't play tunes on it! But motor works perfectly, lights and pitch control in working order. I've checked where the tone arm wires need to be soldered on and there is no damage to the board so is no reason to think it will have any problems. Once the arm is on then this will be a working deck.

You'll also need headshells, cart and stylus for both but you always need those when buying decks!

Price: £275 or nearest offer. if they need to be posted then that cost (once I've found out what it is) will need to be added. If collecting in person cash is fine but paypal deposit of £100 will be needed if you're not collecting within a week. If being posted then paypal please.
