It's on the album "That's the way love is" Tamla TS229.

Doesn't appear to have had a single release.

Guest 45s and 33s

I think the other side may have been Lonely Lover - on one of the half-dozen or so white label Motown 45s that came out from around the early 90s.

Yes, an updated mix I'm afraid.

The white label copy I have is the original cut without being messed around with a modern mixing machine. Still collectable on the UK 1986 release though. thumbsup.gif

have to keep an eye out for both, while we're at it what album does 'lonely lover' appear on?

Sorry to hijack, but what about Lucky Lucky Me?

Did that ever get issued on the original take?

The one I've got is the updated mix which just "Does Not Sound Same"

I have that one Tony, came with pic sleeve too. That's obviously the original release, not sure if there's a dodgy 45 of the original take anywhere though. shades

That'd be the one.

can't help thinking they missed a trick, seem to remember a lot of excitement in the general popworld over the original when it was found,

then to issue an alternative mix, with a worse one on t'other side..............

Ah well
