Well still suprised that this hasn't gone (wheres the xover/soul collectors!)

EMPTY WORLD by DOMESTIC 5 on Aquarius mint £500

mega rare and one of the very best soul records EVER! The guys almost crying at the end...on one of the most beautiful labels!

A sound bite would definitely help the cause Paul.....not that well known a track....

I think you're having a bit of a refosoul breakdown Steve.... ...still sounds like Jackie Edwards to me....not much chance of selling that for 500...

I GIVE UP, PLAYING THE RIGHT TUNE IN MY FILES, WHEN I TRY TO UPLOAD IT PLAYS THAT SHITE:laugh:

This Aquarius from Detroit - Soul Impressions is excellent an old Yarmouth saturday afternoon spin.

As for the domestic Five - killer deep soul - my copy is battered and virtually unplayable it clicks and pops all the way through, and guess who the lead vocalist is?.

Think there are at least four other aquarius labels, Chicago, Va, and a couple of really obscure ones.

Hi Steve

The Domestic 5 lead singer possibly hinting at James Lately Steve, well he was the writer. He also wrote the Calvin Golden 45 on the same label.

This Aquarius label was out of the Highland Park area of Michigan.

Hi Cliff

As for Pam Bowie if memory serves me right, she was a one time girlfriend of Ric Williams who also wrote He's All I Need/Everlasting Love.

My first copy of this 45 was autograghed by Pam who gave this to a friend of mine's wife in the states. Pam also wrote a dedication to my friends wife, "To A Real Live Doll, Walkin' Talkin' etc which dates Pam's release to around the time of Cliff's( that Richard not Steele) NoI Hit "Living Doll"

I was told that Pam was either a school teacher at the time or went onto be come one later.

The Domestic 5 in mint condition nice, most of the recent copies that have turned up have been shagged.
