CHEERS PETE THE IKETTES – CAMEL WALK – MODERN EX 25 SOLD Scarce R&B EMANUEL LASKEY – I’M A PEACE LOVING MAN / SWEET LIES – THELMA EX 100 Top draw double sider GLORIA GAYNOR – SHE’LL BE SORRY – JOCIDA DEMO EX 20 RESERVED Really underrated dancer – it’s brilliant THE PASSIONETTES – MY FAULT – PATH EX 30 RESERVED Classic Stafford girl dancer ESTHER PHILLIPS – JUST SAY GOODBYE – ATLANTIC VG+ 40 Bit of crackle, the odd pop – plays great really LYDIA PENSE – I’LL FORGIVE YOU THEN FORGET YOU – INVADER DEMO M 125 Just the sort of underplayed oldie that should be getting plays instead of the usual worn out stuff – great tune and a rare one too EDDIE GARRIGAN – I WISH I WAS – FONTANA DEMO EX 75 Rare original. Very slight label fade, more on the B side really PATTI AUSTIN – YOU’RE TOO MUCH A PART OF ME – CORAL DEMO VG++ 60 Crackles on the run in but then it’s perfect after that and it’s a very LOUD recording JERRYO – KARATE BOOGALOO – BOO-GA-LOO EX 20 This isn’t particularly rare, it just looks great on this label! ED CROOK – THAT’S ALRIGHT – TRI SOUND EX 80 Stamped original, curved logo, I had one of these 3 weeks back and it didn’t even get as far as the list before someone snapped it up DANNY WILLIAMS – THE STRANGER – UNITED ARTISTS DEMO EX 25 Great song this, big big beat ballad THE COMPANIONS – BE YOURSELF – GENERAL AMERICAN VG+ 15 Few marks but plays fine RUBY JOHNSON – WEAK SPOT – VOLT EX 25 The strangest thing is, I’d had this a few times and never played it for some reason, you know what it’s absolutely FANTASTIC, pounding Northern with a large dollop of R&B chucked in THE GROOVE – LOVE IT’S GETTING BETTER – WAND DEMO EX 25 Lovely oldie MAXINE BROWN – ONE IN A MILLION – WAND EX 40 Classic stuff, and a great B side too, Anything You Do Is Alright, so both sides of this were covered by Chapter Five! Couple of light marks on this but plays mint CHARLIE RICH – LOVE IS AFTER ME – HI DEMO EX 30 Sounds bizarre but this is the first time I’ve ever had this on a US single, never even been offered one KENNY CHANDLER – BEYOND LOVE – TOWER ISSUE M 50 Now here’s a real collectors piece, not the greatest record ever made by any means but it’s not even listed as being issued in JM’s price guide, this is a mint stock copy in it’s original sleeve. No idea of the price but if this does turn out to be rare then someone might have a bargain on their hands THE GRAND PRIXS - ROAR OF THE CROWD / LOST LOVE – TINA VG+ 200 RESERVED visually this is vg to vg+ but it plays ex, perfect sound. bit of label wear nothing to worry about - books at 450. asking 200 for this copy. BARBARA WEST – CONGRATULATIONS BABY – RONN DEMO M 50 SOLD Apart from a small initial on the label, this is as new, and it’s nice vinyl not nasty styrene THE JOBETTES – WHAT YOU GONNA DO / NO EXPLANATION – KEVIN M- 50 Two very classy girl group tracks, one mid to uptempo, the other earlier sounding.
