Sean Hampsey Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Yep, I've had three of these over the years - all on Jump Up. Pretty sure its the first label... backed with 'Come Back Home Meh Boy!" He had at least one LP out on Trojan (early70's?). Dr Kitch, its terrible.... I can't stand the size of your needle! Sean

Theres a compilation on Island called Doctor Kitch with obviously the title track plus a Wailers track to make it interesting

ZapatootheTiger Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Also on Aladdin (an Island subsidiary label) From Tapir's... WI 612 Lord Kitchener - Dr Kitch // Come Back Home Meh Boy 1965
Guest bentheballadeer Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 The original 45 came out in Trinidad on the TELCO label and was also issued on the Jump Up label in the same year (1963) It later came out on the WIRL lable in '66 together with the ALLADIN label in the UK and again on BEVERLEY's together with the DUKE label in '71 in the UK
Martint Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Bought a box of about 50 of these in the late 80's when I was selling records mail order. For some reason one of the wholesalers I was dealing with who mainly sold crap had hit upon a stash of original UK jump up pressings. Think they were 75p each or so and stone mint. Great record, reckon I only have one left now.

Mal.C. Original was released on the TELCO label from Trinidad in 1963 released on JUMP UP in the UK that same year
