Ian - I was told whilst at the Brid weekender this year, that she was there. front centre of stage, big ribbons in her hair still in a circle skirt. she was with a couple of guys with very wide bags and another lass also. im sure there'll be a picture of her on one of the gallery

albums. maybe someone can shed more light

Debbie - Yes my love, Mrs. Casper(Susan)who is a friend of the family told me, that was the lady in the old Wigan photo, they always dance well & look very stylish, its nice to see people still on the scene after all these years, true dedication!

I remember this girl well. She appeared at Wigan in the late seventies. I had by now become bored of Wigan as in my eyes it was going down the pan. The Bradford crowd I hung around with had started to try other venues like Rotheram Clifton Hall although nothing compared to Wigan in it's hayday. I didn't go while 1975 but by the end of 77 it had had it. Hope I don't offend anyone but I think it went on too long.

Yes, from Middlesbrough. Knew her brother Jimmy. She only went once or twice specifically for the dancing compo. She did gymnastics. Later she did join a circus and also was in the papers for an association with David Essex if my memory serves me right.

No accounting for taste is there.

Ian, the girl at Brid is called Judy she is from or lives in Nth Yorks and was with Colin and his lad Cris and girlfriend at Brid. I was told that she was the same girl that was on the CD cover, will ask her when I see her next. They did go to Kingsway Hall Mansfield quite a lot.

Partly correct, it was her younger sister Susan who was supposed to have had a fling with David Essex. Shirley joined a travelling show and was a contortionist, bending herself into little boxes etc.

I was talking to her brother Jimmy only a couple of week's ago.
