Not lately mate, but on Brit Soul, have been giving Tom Jones 'Hide and Seek' a few spins recently and it seems to go down well; still waiting for someone to chuck their knickers at me tho'.thumbsup.gif

And no... drawers, cellular, mens, olive drab are not what I had in mind....

That's a mental image we cd all do without...

Ironing the strides ready for top nite at Bisley; think the PX hs a bit of an oil seal issue, but I'll work on the bags o' smoke principle.

Don't know if it had a UK release but I was completely knocked out that this guy is a Blue-Eyed Brit from Brighton.

Great track IMO

Not definite but The Brighton Bobby Sansom moved permanently to California in the early 70s and is still there. I've e-mailed him and asked direct so hopefully if I get a reply I'll let ya know.

Ken, good tracks. I mentioned them earlier to him in my thanks reply and see if he comes back with owt.

Listening to "Don't Leave" its hard to imagine this is the guy but there again we are all often surprised to find out some tracks are white.

I can not say from any experience, but I am 99% sure that Helen Shapiro "Tell me what he said" was played at the Casino? Can any one confirm this please??

Whilst we are on the Casino, did the floor ever clear and what too? And who was the DJ?

Yes it was played at the Casino, I remember getting Bill Withers played in Mr M's cleared the floor except me and my mate.

I think "STOP AND BECOME AWARE" and "HE KNOWS HOW TO LOVE ME" have a place in the Northern Soul sphere.

I think that "Tell Me What He Said" is more of a pop record, maybe this was why it was a big selling chart record in the 60's.
