Swifty Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 Thank you both for your speedy replies Cheers Swifty
Premium Stuff Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Great record For some reason, the Revilot release is sometimes commented on as "never released". Never been sure why this is. The Revilot copy certainly turns up regularly, especially on eBay. However, copies are often rough looking and it does seem reasonably hard to find this one in mint or near mint condition. The Atco copy is on both issue and promo. Cheers Richard

Sean Hampsey Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I have a beautiful Green & Silver Atlantic (Oz) copy! Wouldn't part with it for a Golden Chopper! Great tune. Sean
jocko Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 (edited) Great record For some reason, the Revilot release is sometimes commented on as "never released". Never been sure why this is. Richard I think that is from the pre-internet days and Rod Dearloves Detroit mag may have missed it out, or something similar. Until early 90's that was the general rumour. I must admit I waited for a long time before I got a decent Revilot copy, but again probably pre total immersion of internet like today. Fantastic record, used to shake the tea bar hatch door when played loud at Allanton, aka Shotts, when it filled a floor (my only floor filler before anyone else says it!!) PS I have a spare Atco copy if anyone wants to give me £100, surely something that good is worth that, even if is common as muck!! Edited September 18, 2009 by jocko
Wrongcrowd Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I've always reckoned the Revilot release to be pretty tough to find in mint condition, and I'd value it at 60-80 quid....never much cared for "A New Day Begins" though, the other side "I'll Wait"is far more soulful IMO.....
