hi

heard a tune last night by the chocolate boys , was told this was being covered up as ramsey lewis at soul in the sun holiday this summer

was told it was the flip side to volta piero or something sounded like that but ive had no luck searching the net so far

anyone got any more info ie label soundclip or know where there one for sale

Not much at all - funnily enough it was covered up as Ramsey Lewis in the 70's as well.

I'd heard Manship shifted a couple at £50 each and they went like hot cakes (maybe even hot chocolate cakes )

I've sold two at £40, and I know one of the people who bought one off Manship for £50

Here we go - on the Aquarius label from 1976. The 'a' side is "Brasilia Carnival". It says on the label it's a French recording.

There are also Dutch copies with a picture sleeve.

Was played at Four Seasons, Scarborough around 76/77.

Think it's canadian release I've got, I could be wrong though (I often am )

Mine's got the picture cover as well, nice pictures of the group I'll dig it out so you can all have a laugh
